Holiday apartment in Meuselbach, Bergbahn region, between Rennsteig and Schwarzatal. Our apartment is on the edge of town, right on the "Rund um die Bergbahn" hiking trail, surrounded by forest. The apartment is in an annex with a separate entrance and about 50 sqm of living space. All rooms are on one floor. Please note: the entrance is not wheelchair accessible. On the fenced property, you will find a parking space, a garden terrace with outdoor furniture, and a sun umbrella. A bakery is just 3 minutes away. The nearest supermarkets are 5 and 10 km away. There are also restaurants in town. About Meuselbach: Meuselbach and the district Schwarzmühle are located in the southern Thuringian Forest. The two districts differ in population (1,500 vs. 180) and elevation (550–650 and 400 meters above sea level). You can expect a typical mountain village: peaceful, far from city bustle, yet centrally located and easy to reach. Nearby: Hiking and excursion destinations such as Meuselbacher Kuppe, Fröbelturm Oberweißbach, Oberweißbach-Lichtenhain cable railway, Rennsteig, Schwarzatal, Lauscha Glass Museum and Glassworks, Sonneberg Toy Museum, Saalfeld Fairy Grottoes, Ratscher mountain lake, Scheibe-Alsbach reservoir, Goldisthal pumped storage plant, Leibis dam, Ernstthal summer toboggan run, swimming pools and ski lifts nearby, as well as castles and palaces in Rudolstadt, Arnstadt, Bad Blankenburg, Kronach, and Coburg.
